Dungeon Heroes Progression Guide — Noob to Max
Early Game (Levels 1–30)
Run Shattered Forest until Fireball or Piercing Wave S-tier equivalents drop from the Shattered Forest chest. Push Orion's Peak at level 15 for Self Heal—still the best sustain skill for solo players. Deadman's Cove at 30 introduces Holy Light for parties and Serpent Strike for physical boss DPS. Redeem every active code before starting serious key spending.
Difficulty target: Normal once for story, Medium until comfortable, Hard when death rate drops below one per three runs. Do not touch Insane yet—gear and skill rarity are too low.
Mid Game (30–60)
Flaming Depths and Mosscrown Jungle unlock Meteor Storm and Party Animal respectively—both meta-defining for magic DPS and support speed runs. Begin Magic Dust rerolls on Rare weapons only. Collect five copies of your first S-tier pet without merging until skills are stable.
Horizontal farm Shattered Forest and Orion's Peak Hard for key income while vertically pushing new zones. Keys should split eighty/twenty skills-to-pet savings.
Late Game (60–90+)
Shifting Sands, Shimmering Caves, and Astral Abyss gate endgame gear and Chain Lightning. Insane becomes default when Hard clear times fall under eight minutes with fewer than one death per run.
- Shifting Sands — Lv 70+ — Shifting Sands chest
- Shimmering Caves — Lv 80+ — Shimmering Caves chest
- Astral Abyss — Lv 90+ — Astral Abyss chest
Horizontal vs Vertical Balance
Vertical progression unlocks new dungeons and chest pools. Horizontal progression farms old Hard content for keys, Magic Dust, and pet duplicates. Weekly plan: two sessions vertical push, three sessions horizontal farm—adjust if stuck on boss DPS checks.
Endgame Daily Loop
Insane Astral Abyss or best key-per-minute dungeon, spend keys on remaining S-tier gaps, merge S-tier pet tier, reroll weapon with Dust from duplicate sales. Check codes page and Discord for patch course corrections.
