Dungeon Heroes Skill Matcher
Why Matching Matters
Dungeon Heroes penalizes mixed damage types harshly. Physical skills on magic weapons—and magic skills on physical swords—lose a large share of scaling that no amount of leveling fixes. New players see Fireball drop, equip it on a physical axe because the axe has higher item level, and wonder why Bol'zarog takes twice as long. The skill matcher exists to catch that mistake before you waste keys leveling the wrong pair.
Type matching is more important than tier matching in early game, but both matter endgame. A matched B-tier skill often beats a mismatched A-tier until you roll a correct-type replacement from the same chest.
How to Use the Matcher
Select your equipped weapon type in the tool—physical or magic. Input each slotted skill from your hotbar. The matcher flags mismatches in red and suggests replacements from tier lists at dungeons you have unlocked. Re-run after every weapon upgrade or skill chest session; one wrong click reintroduces mismatch silently.
Rarity and Level Reminders
Even perfectly matched Common skills fall behind Rare alternatives. Matcher assumes you fix type first, then chase S-tier rarity from the correct dungeon chest. Skill level is the last optimization—never level a mismatched skill past placeholder tiers.
Build Templates
Load physical DPS, magic DPS, or support templates to see which skills should be neutral buffs like Holy Light versus typed damage skills. Support players still need typed basic filler attacks even when heals are equipped.
Party Review Mode
Advanced groups paste all four loadouts before Insane queues—one physical player running magic skills drags entire clear speed. Matcher outputs shareable summaries for Discord LFG posts: "verified physical match" builds trust faster than vague "meta DPS" claims.
