PC Controls for Dungeon Heroes
Default PC Layout
WASD moves your hero. Mouse controls camera unless you hold right-click for free look—experiment to find your preference in hub before entering dungeons.
Left click basic attacks. Number keys 1–4 (or your configured hotbar) trigger equipped skills. Q executes dodge roll—the most important defensive tool in Dungeon Heroes PC play.
- W/A/S/D — Move
- Q — Dodge roll (i-frames)
- Left Click — Basic attack
- 1–4 — Skill hotbar
- Mouse — Camera / aim
Mastering Q Dodge
Press Q toward the attack source, not away blindly—many boss hits are directional cones. Rolling sideways through a line slam avoids damage; rolling backward may still clip the hitbox.
Dodge has cooldown—do not spam. Watch boss wind-ups: orange ground circles mean move or roll; long charge animations mean save dodge for impact frame.
Combine dodge with movement skills like Drill Strike only when you know the path is safe—some mobility skills root you after dash, punishing mis-timed inputs.
Skill Hotbar Optimization
Order skills by priority: primary DPS on 1, AoE on 2, heal or buff on 3, pet or utility on 4. Muscle memory beats hunting icons mid-boss.
Physical builds: place Serpent Strike, Skybreaker, or Piercing Wave on easy keys. Magic builds: Fireball, Frost Arc, Chain Lightning. Support: Self Heal and Holy Light must be reachable without looking.
PC Performance and Settings
Cap Roblox graphics if frame drops cause input delay—dodge windows are frame-sensitive. Close background apps on low-end PCs.
Disable sticky keys and filter keys Windows prompts—they interrupt dungeon pulls. Fullscreen focus mode reduces accidental alt-tabs during Insane attempts.
