Dungeon Heroes Key Planner

Planner Purpose

The key planner helps you simulate weekly income from Hard and Insane dungeon clears against planned spends on skill chests and pet merges. Dungeon Heroes uses one key pool for both systems—without a plan, it is easy to merge a Bulwark early and then miss an S-tier skill roll from Orion's Peak because keys ran dry mid-week.

Input your average clears per hour, difficulty, and party size. The planner outputs how many keys you earn before next weekend and whether you can afford both a ten-pull skill session and a five-pet merge batch.

Recommended Allocation for New Players

Weeks one and two: allocate one hundred percent of keys to the skill chest matching your current dungeon until you slot an S-tier DPS skill that matches your weapon type plus one sustain option like Self Heal. Week three onward: reserve twenty percent of weekly keys for pet merge savings while continuing skill chest focus on the next dungeon tier.

Endgame accounts balance Astral Abyss chest rolls for Chain Lightning or Skybreaker with Okurio merge tiers—planner prevents over-investing in vanity chest pulls when merge five is one key payment away.

Scenario Examples

Scenario A: thirty keys per week, stuck on Orion's Peak—planner says open only Orion chest until Self Heal and Frost Arc or your physical equivalent appear; zero pet merges. Scenario B: fifty keys per week, five Okurio copies ready—merge before spending on Flaming Depths chest gambling. Scenario C: eighty keys Insane farm—split forty skill, twenty merge, twenty emergency stash for event codes that grant bonus keys if patches add them.

Integration with Guides and Tier Lists

Cross-check guides/keys-and-chests for earn rate assumptions and tier-list pages for stop conditions—planner rows should mark "complete" when S-tier obtained so you do not mentally re-roll finished chests. Update inputs after every difficulty upgrade; Hard to Insane jumps key income sharply for groups that survive.

Limitations

Community planners estimate drop rates Twin Atlas does not publish—treat outputs as budgets, not guarantees. Patch buffs to key drops or merge costs require manual adjustment. Screenshot your plan before major update days so you remember pre-patch commitments.
